A NOTE OF THANKS
The 2001 Vancouver reunion was a huge success. The programs were varied and interesting, and everything went like clockwork. We had joyful and noisy gatherings, as well as private moments for quiet reflections and confidences.
I for one have happy memories of all our reunions over the years. When I tell my newer friends about them, the most common reaction is wonder, at our staying in touch from all over the world, and a bit of envy, at our continuing friendships of almost 50 years. The truth is, the ease and comfort of being with old friends is one of the greatest pleasures in life.
So, a sincere THANK YOU once again to our classmates on the organizing committee, especially David Mok and Soo Hung Nin. The rest of us certainly appreciate your efforts. We will continue to give our enthusiastic support and to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Lastly, those of us fortunate enough to attend would like to share the fun with all our classmates, especially the ones who had wanted to but were unable to join us this time.
Here's hoping life is treating all of you gently,
